Locus Informatik sold to Trapeze Group

Trapeze Group expands its product range with the purchase of Locus Informatik.

Århus, March 23, 2010. Today, Trapeze Group Europe A/S announces that the company will take over Locus Informatik in Brøndby, Denmark as of March 1, 2010. This purchase brings Trapeze Group one large step closer to the goal of offering public and private operators of public traffic and demand response transportation its 360 degree solutions.      

 Locus Informatik is the market leader in Scandinavia within systems for ticketing and travel card transactions as well as passenger self-service. Their solutions are sold to public authorities and transportation companies, e.g. the Kvik card on the Danish island Funen and Uddannelseskort.dk.               

“Locus Informatik has developed leading industry solutions that complement our current product range for primarily the Scandinavian market”, says Mr. Klavs Vejlang, CEO of Trapeze Group Europe. “We view this acquisition as greatly beneficial for both companies and we see the purchase as a joint strategic approach”.

Trapeze Group Europe develops IT solutions for planning, administration and operation of public transport and demand response transport, for resource planning and for regular and ad hoc service of freight rail transportation.
