Locus acquires Cappit

Lotus acquires 100% of the shares in Cappit AS.

Cappit is a mobile integration partner towards the professional market, representing a wide experience of in implementation, and a wide portfolio of 3rd party solutions and hardware. Important customers include Post Danmark, DLG Arla, Carlsberg and DSV.

 

About Locus

Locus is a well-established Nordic System Integrator with a head office located in Sandefjord, Norway. Sandefjord is at the heart of an attractive residential area, popular also among holiday makers, with excellent connections to several major cities in Europe. Locus also has offices located in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen and Aarhus. Locus was founded in 1991 and it all started with development of a traffic information system for Volvo. 18 years later core business is still different systems related to traffic, transport and logistics.

In the last few years, Locus has experienced major growth both in terms of the number of customers and total employees. At the moment the company counts more than 100 highly qualified employees. The major shareholder CapMan became owner of the company in 2004. Their stated ambition is to establish the company as a major player in the Nordic arena. This goal will be attained through mergers and acquisitions.
